Have you ever wondered why so many football mascots look like chickens? I have. A lot. I have uncovered evidence that suggests a huge conspiracy of chickens is attempting undermine our national game by masquerading as eagles, owls and other fowl disguises.

#8 Oldham Athletic
Number 8. Oldham Athletic. Today's mascot is a little different. Chaddy the Owl has been photographed making a rather large fool of himself more than once. In the first picture he has managed to fall off a bike, maybe he should get stabilizers. In the second picture he seems to be getting cosy with another football mascot who cannot be named. In the third picture he seems to be crying whilst being taken away by either paramedics or stewards - I don't know but either way there's something funny going on. Also Chaddy has been reported to have been in a fight with Bloomfield bear after throwing his football boots into the crowd. At a game with Doncaster Rovers, Mr Owl had to be escorted out of the ground after encouraging a riot with the fans.
